Remote assistance: Matelex launches video support in augmented reality.

We’ve all been there: you have a question and need an immediate answer, adapted to your context. So you make a call, try to explain your problem and send photos at the same time, so that the person you’re speaking to has a better grasp of your request. This takes time and energy, and you’re not sure you’ve given enough information. Result: you’ve been on the phone for 10 minutes and still haven’t received the answer you’ve been waiting for.

To save time and be more efficient, video assistance via smartphone or tablet is now available. Whether it’s a simple doubt or you need step-by-step guidance, augmented reality will enable Matelex technical support to better understand your needs and provide the most appropriate response.

How does it work?

Thanks to the TeamViewer Pilot mobile application, you can share your camera live with the person you’re talking to. You can move around, zoom in, and become the eyes of the technical support team. They can respond to your questions, but they can also annotate the image by selecting elements or pointing with an arrow to the area they need to work on.

No need for glasses or dedicated software, just a simple mobile application. Available from the App store and Google Play, this application takes just 2 clicks to install. Launch it and enter the code that appears on the screen. You’re ready to go, live! Video sharing is optimised according to the quality of your connection, and your exchanges are secure.

Would you like to invite your colleague to join the discussion? Add a new user to your session by sending them a simple link by text message. You can also record the session to share it, or freeze it to take a screenshot. It’s simple, fast and effective.

Are you planning to intervene in the near future? A DNI to install, an annual inspection to carry out or just a question?
